DryBar | Brush Crush Review

I have a fun hair tool to review for you guys! It’s the new Drybar Brush Crush and Hot Toddy Heat Protectant Mist. I love the idea of a straightener and a brush combined in one so I was really excited to try this out! I’ll keep it short and simple for y’all!

First off, I’ll go over my hair type because it matters for this post 😳. I have frizzy, curly hair and a lot of it! It takes a lot of maintaining especially when wearing it straight. It becomes frizzy fairly easy and with this humidity in the OKC air…who knows what it would look like!

The Brush Crush did a decent job given my hair type. After I let my hair air dry, I sprayed the Hot Toddy mist all over and made sure to get every section. It smells really good and kept my hair smelling amazing throughout the day too!

Then, I turned on the Brush Crush to 370F degrees. Typically it takes me about 25-30 minutes to straighten my hair with a flat iron. With the Brush Crush, it took me about 10 minutes. I don’t typically wear my hair straight but I always “rough” straighten before I curl it so it remains smooth.

As you can see, it didn’t make my hair sleek but that’s due to my hair type. My sister used it on her hair and hers looked sleek!

If I was rating this on a scale of 1-10, I’d probably give it a solid 8/10. The benefits far outweighed the con and the con being my hair didn’t look as sleek as I’ve seen on others. I do enjoy the quickness of straightening it in preparation to curl my hair with a wand.

You babes are in luck! I have a code to the Drybar site for 10% the whole site! Anything and everything! It’s Rowda10 so feel free to grab anything.
